Eurostat training

Eurostat training eventThe Centre for Research in Ethnic Minority Entrepreneurship (CREME) co-organised a hands-on training session on 14 May using Eurostat statistical data. This opportunity brought together students and academics from across the University to explore the potential of European cross-comparative statistical data. Participants had the opportunity to learn about Eurostat and how it’s data can be accessed via their website and utilised for research purposes.   They had the opportunity to understand how the statistical office brings together data sets from different European countries, as well as the data availability and cross- country comparability. Participants had the chance to look at particular data sets on trade, living conditions and labour market participation, and also to get practical experience on the new features of the Eurostat website.
