University Retired Members' Association

Birmingham University Retired Members' Association (B.U.R.M.A)

The association, formed in 1971, has a current membership of around 120 retired members of University of Birmingham staff. Spouses are also eligible to join the group.

BURMA meets monthly between September-May for an informal lunch in a private dining room on the third floor of Staff House, followed by an illustrated talk by an invited speaker.

BURMA meetings for Spring Term 2014

The format of our meetings is a gathering for lunch in Staff House at 12.30pm followed at 2pm by a talk in room WG12 Aston Webb Building. Visitors are welcome but lunches must be booked in advance.
