Judges needed for national science and engineering competition

The National Science and Engineering Competition is looking for people working in science and engineering, with at least a bachelor degree in a STEM subject, to help judge young people’s science and engineering project work to serve as judges.

What do judges do?

Judges work in pairs and usually judge 6-8 individual or team projects at their stands. All judges are given a full briefing at the start of judging.

How do I get involved?

The team are looking for judges in the Midlands area to judge on Thursday 13 March 2014 at The NEC, Birmingham. Judges need to be available from 8.30am - 5pm; lunch and refreshments will be provided.

What is the Competition?

The Competition is open to 11-18 year olds living in the UK and provides young people with the opportunity to build their skills and confidence in project-based work.
