New Click+Collect grocery service for students and staff

Tesco-click-and-collect

Student Accommodation have worked with Tesco to open a Click+Collect Grocery collection point at Pritchatts Park Village, located in the car park next to Pritchatts house. This means you can order your groceries online and collect on campus at a time to suit you. This service will be piloted for 6 months to serve both students and staff at the University.

Collection slots are available 8-11am and 4-7pm, Monday to Sunday.  Simply select the Click+Collect option when you do your grocery shop at Tesco.com.

In order to keep your groceries fresh all orders are picked on the day of collection, driven to the collection point and held in a temperature controlled van until you arrive. You can order up until 11pm for collection the next day, just turn up any time during your chosen slot.

If it is not automatically listed as one of your nearest collection points then search using the postcode B15 2QX and select the ‘Pritchatts Park Village’ collection point.  Best of all, the grocery collection service is free when you spend £25.

Introducing Click+Collect to the University highlight our commitment to being a sustainable University. We hope that the launch of the service will help us to achieve our ambition of 20% less carbon emissions by 2020. This is due to the expectation of a reduced number of individual delivery vans visiting the site and car journeys being made to off-site supermarkets as a result of launching the service.
