Q&A with West Midlands Mayoral candidates

On Thursday 4 May the people of the West Midlands will elect a Metro Mayor. These four candidates will all be visiting campus in the coming weeks to present their policies and ideas and to answer questions from staff and students. The polls will be open to those who are registered to vote and who live in Birmingham, Coventry, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull, Walsall and Wolverhampton Council areas. We would like to thank the Guild of Students for partnering on this series of events and for hosting these sessions:

Siôn Simon (Labour), 17:30-18:30 Monday 23 January, the Vaughn Jeffries Lecture Theatre, Arts Building (please note this is different to the venue that was originally advertised)

James Burn (Green), 18:00-19:00 Wednesday 25 January, Guild Council Chamber

Andy Street (Conservative), 18:00-19:00 Wednesday 15 February, Guild Council Chamber

Beverley Nielsen (Liberal Democrat), 18:00-19:00 Tuesday 21 February, Guild Council Chamber
