The University of Birmingham hosts the second Academic Venue Awards
The University hosted the 2018 Academic Venue Awards on Tuesday night and was also shortlisted in three categories.
This was the second year of the event, which celebrates excellence in events and venue management in academia. The University was shortlisted for:
- Best catering service for the Chamberlain Dinner, which was hosted in the Lapworth Museum of Geology earlier this year.
- Best in-house technology for the audio-visual facilities, services and support available at University venues.
Best event management team for a series of high profile events, including the International Conference on Women in Physics and the Pride of Birmingham Awards
