New furniture supplier for the University

As part of the non-pay efficiencies work, the University has now created a new furniture supply contract, this contract will support improved staff and student wellbeing, as well as improved value for money through more efficient procurement.

Furniture from Elite will help create better working environments for all campus users, with high quality products that have been sustainably sourced and marketed.

It is easy to purchase from the new supplier using the eMarketplace system. All you need to do is:

Log in to Core > go to Procurement > Purchase Requisitions > Shop by Category > Science Warehouse

The new approach will help achieve consistency across the University. In addition, there will be a standardised approach to enable the reuse of furniture via a system called Warp It, which allows items to be exchanged between departments.
