It is likely that your app or website will need it’s own accessibility statement.
We must ensure that all of our statements are:
- Easy to find and understand.
- Useful, accurate and up-to-date.
- Reviewed and edited regularly (at least annually).
- Written in plain English and do not use technical language or jargon.
They should also include information on:
- How people with access needs can get alternatives.
- How to report accessibility problems.
- Which components do not meet accessibility standards and why.
