Teaching and Learning Conference 2016

This year’s Teaching and Learning Conference focuses on ‘Developing the Birmingham Graduate’. The eight attributes of the ‘Birmingham Graduate’ are underpinned in our Education Strategy 2015-20. They describe qualities that underpin the institution’s values and culture, which will also help prepare our students for unpredictable working environments, with the confidence and self-belief to “make important things happen”.

The Conference sets out to describe the current and future landscape for Higher Education, and the case for the students’ learning experience to be more inter-connected, linked to personal development and employability through the Birmingham Graduate attributes. Practical, evidence-based examples will be presented to enhance your knowledge and teaching methods, including opportunities for discussion.
