The University is delighted that the City Council has approved its estate development plans which underpin its strategy to become a leading global university and, in turn, support the city's ambitions for the future.
These plans will provide 21st century educational, research and sports facilities for our staff and students, as well as benefitting the local community.
Following extensive public consultation, this five year investment will reinterpret the vision of founder Joseph Chamberlain, completing the Aston Webb semi-circle and opening up the 'green heart' of campus. The plans will create a 21st century estate and extend the services available to staff, students and the local community.
