Director of motorsport STEM education provider ‘The Blair Project’ and award winning serial entrepreneur

Dr Marilyn Comrie OBE is an award winning serial entrepreneur, green tech innovator and board member of the Greater Manchester Local Enterprise Partnership. Her passion is developing the pipeline of diverse talent needed to fuel the green industrial revolution to tackle climate change. This includes girls, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic youth, and those from low-income backgrounds.

She’s a director of motorsport STEM education provider The Blair Project, principal founder of the Black United Representation Network which exists to tackle racial inequalities in Greater Manchester through wealth generation, and CEO of the new £4 million Manchester Innovation Activities Hub (MIAH). Opening in April 2022 within Manchester Science Park, MIAH will specialise in employer-led rapid upskilling, reskilling and retraining of homegrown talent to fill key skills gaps and provide industrial grade equipment and expertise to help firms to innovate and prototype new clean tech solutions.
