Bi-monthly welcome and induction activities

The University Graduate School (UGS) run bi-monthly induction activities to welcome postgraduate researchers joining the University at different times of the year. Our 'PGR Essentials: Getting Started' events will give you an opportunity to meet other postgraduate researchers (new and current), PGR support staff, as well as find out about the resources available to you within the University. We run small group sessions, so you can ask the questions that matter most to you. We also invite current PGRs, so you can hear all the insider secrets on getting the most out of your time here. 

Our bi-monthly welcome and induction activities for postgraduate researchers will be taking place on the below dates in the 2021/22 academic year. You can register to attend via our events listing page.

'PGR Essentials: Getting Started' dates for 2021/22 academic year:

  • Monday 31st January, 11am-12.30pm
  • Tuesday 22nd March, 1pm-2.30pm
  • Tuesday 24th May, 11am-12.30pm
