UK Engagement Survey (UKES)

Eligible students, you can now complete the UK Engagement Survey (UKES) until Tuesday 30 April.

The UK Engagement Survey (UKES) is an annual national survey open to eligible non-final year undergraduates in the UK.

Whether you're enjoying your studies, or feel there are aspects that could be improved, now's your chance to share your views. We’re keen to make sure students like you have the best possible experience while studying at UoB. UKES is a great opportunity for you to share your honest feedback on your course and wider learning experience.

Your feedback will be used to help us improve or keep doing the things that are useful to you - so what you say can make a real difference to your studies. Share with us what you enjoy, and what could be improved. The more students who complete the survey, the more representative it will be.

Because the survey is co-ordinated by Advance HE in collaboration with JISC, the answers you give remain anonymous.

And as a thank you for your time, five students who take part stand a chance of winning a £150 cash prize. If you wish to be considered for the online survey prize draw, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions with the University of Birmingham.

How do I complete the UK Engagement Survey?

If eligible, you’ll be invited, by email, by the University to take part in completing the survey from Monday 5 February 2024 using a personalised link (which means you don't have to log in). You may also receive emails from a JISC address to encourage you to have your say.

You can also log in manually using the below link at any time. Just follow these simple instructions:

Complete the survey

  • Respondent ID - this is your full University of Birmingham student ID number (you'll find this on your ID card)
  • Password - this is your date of birth in the following format DD/MM/YYYY (including the / / ) For example, if your birthday was 14th February 2002, your password would be 14/02/2002

Please do not try to log in with your usual username and password that you would use to access other University of Birmingham systems/accounts. Completing the UK Engagement Survey will take around 10 minutes.

Don’t miss out – have your say by Tuesday 30 April 2024.
