Getting Started with STEM HE Research

Many academics are using innovative approaches in their teaching or seeking to better understand student learning. Evaluating the effectiveness of these approaches and capturing the views of students are becoming increasingly important aspects of the work of an academic. To support those wishing to evaluate or research their teaching practices, particularly those who are new to activity in this area, this half-day initial workshop has been organized by HEFi. Although led by those with expertise within the STEM disciplines, it will be applicable to those from any discipline wishing to develop their educational research knowledge and skills.
