It's Green Week at UoB from 13 to 17 November. Commuting is the source of over 10,000 tonnes of our carbon emissions--none of which from cycling. Winter weather challenges even the most seasoned cycle commuters to keep riding all year round. This event aims to overcome some of the challenges. Bring your bike down for:
- FREE winter valet service to include a bike check, and clean and relubrication of the drivetrain and winterproofing key components.
- FREE security marking of bikes with Bike Register
- FREE D-locks for students
- Special demonstration of bike lights for sale
Drop by the Gear Up cycle repair hub in Staff House Square at 2-5pm on Thursday 16 November.See you there for the valeting and other activities and some friendly chat about bikes and cycling.
NB: Please bring your bike in person during the event--James and Stewart will be busy with their booked jobs until 2pm on the day.
