Prof R Steinberger-Wilckens, School of Chemical Engineering, was awarded £361,403 from the Commission of the European Communities for the project, FP7_COLLAB_SCORED 2:0.

Prof C D Rogers, School of Civil Engineering, was awarded £2,119,254 from the Engineering & Physical Science Research Council for the project, Assessing the Underworld - An Integrated Performance Model of City Infrastructures.

Prof M Cherniakov, School of EECE, was awarded £320,000 from Jaguar Cars Limited for the project, Speed Over Ground and Terahertz Sensing.

Dr N Warnken, School of Metallurgy and Materials, was awarded £72,000 from Rolls Royce for the project, Advanced Casting Modelling – studentship.

Dr O A Olatunbosun, School of Mechanical Engineering, was awarded £22,000 from Fusion Innovations Ltd for the project, Proof of concept and feasibility study of TOGEN - A Rolling Motion Energy Capture Device for Tyre Pressure Maintenance.

Dr G A Worth, School of Chemistry, was awarded £283,377 from the Engineering & Physical Science Research Council for the project, Developing the MCTDH Quantum Dynamics Code: Accurate Direct Dynamics of Non-Adiabatic Phenomena.

Dr N A Hawes, School of Computer Science, was awarded £60,605 from the Commission of the European Communities for the project, FP7_STRANDS_COLLAB.

Prof A Vecchio, School of Physics and Astronomy, was awarded £438,661 from the Science & Technology Facilities Council for the project, Surveying black holes and neutron stars with gravitational waves.
