PGR Conference 2016

About

Each year the University of Birmingham Postgraduate Research Committee holds a conference to present topics of interest to Postgraduate Researchers who use the Birmingham Environment for Academic Research (BEAR).
The conference provides an opportunity for postgraduate researchers and early career academics to present posters and talks.
Past conferences include a range of speakers, from both academic and industrial backgrounds. This conference is focused on computational analysis, numerical modelling, and high performance computing. It is open to all disciplines, including STEM, social sciences and humanities. It is intended to demonstrate the power and varied use of High Performance Computing (HPC), and the facilities included in BEAR.
Posters will be assessed by a panel of judges, and feedback provided with prizes available to outstanding entries.
