The purpose of the Committee is:
- To develop, maintain and promote active Research and Knowledge Exchange projects within the College.
- To foster within the College a strong research ethos
- To address the main strategic challenges for research and knowledge exchange in the College as follows:
- Building excellence in research capacity and capability
- Improving and profiling research and knowledge exchange performance
- Developing a doctoral strategy
- Developing the knowledge exchange agenda
- Sustaining the inter-disciplinary momentum, and
- Building a collective leadership for research and knowledge exchange
