Global Entrepreneurship Week (8-12 November 2021) is the world's largest entrepreneurship festival and is celebrated in 180 countries.
Global Entrepreneurship Week is a massive campaign to celebrate and empower entrepreneurs in every country and community across the world – especially those individuals who face barriers or may never have considered starting a business before.

The University of Birmingham will be running a series of events and opportunities to celebrate Global Entrepreneurship Week. We invite you to experiment with your own ideas, to try something new and to gain entrepreneur skills to help you work like a boss in your course, your start-up or future career. Monday 8 November
NatWest Business Builder Workshop: The Power of Mindset 13:30 - 15:00 (Online)
Join the NatWest Business Builder team to take a deep dive into The Power of Mindset. Find out how our mindset is formed and influenced to understand why different situations feel comfortable or not. You will come away with a deeper understanding of your own mindset.
Tuesday 9 November
The Keyloop Automotive Technology Competition Workshop 10:00 - 11:00 (Alan Walters Room 111)
Global automotive tech company Keyloop are looking for innovative ideas from University of Birmingham students. Enter for a chance to secure industry support, mentoring and up to £11,000 in prize money. This workshop aims to support you in creating or developing your idea for entry into the competition before the deadline of Monday 22 November.

Get help with your freelance idea. Turn your skill into profit and find out how to do it in this two hour session facilitated by Windswept Workshops

Start-Up Visa workshop - 10:00 - 12:00 (Online)
This Start-up Visa workshop is designed for International students who are considering the option of starting a business in the UK after graduation.
Friday 12 November
NatWest Business Builder workshop: An introduction to Business Modelling - 14:00 - 15:30 (Online)
Join the Business Builder team to explore the Business Model Canvas, a one-page ‘road map’ of your business. You’ll come away with a sense of where small, medium and large changes could be made to your business model to improve the way you operate for maximum profitability and rapid growth.
