This week of activities is designed to support students who are graduating this summer.
Whether you are exploring your career options, developing your job search strategies and networking skills, or planning to apply for graduate jobs and further study, this week will help you to identify skills you have to offer. It will provide you with the tools you need to succeed after graduation and support you to build your resilience and feel confident in applying this learning successfully to your own career plans.
This week of events is specifically for final year undergraduates and postgraduate taught students (PGTs). Recent graduates are also welcome to attend.

This Career Planning workshop is designed to support students who are graduating without a clear career plan. We will explore what makes you want to work, take a look at your skills and what you have to offer, and support you to feel confident in applying this learning to your own career plans.
This session is designed to give you the confidence and tools to build and expand your online profile successfully and develop your professional networks. Come along and find out how UoB alumni are using social media tools such as LinkedIn in their job search.
In the current climate, job hunting can be a daunting and emotional process. In addition, the word ‘resilience’ has become a hot topic. What does this mean in terms of your career and how can you develop this? This session is an opportunity to explore practical solutions and tools to develop your motivation and resilience. You will also hear from recent alumni about the main challenges that they have faced since graduating, and also gain inspiration on how to overcome setbacks.
Are you an international student hoping to work in the UK after you graduate? Come along to this webinar to hear about the experiences of international alumni who are now working in the UK. You will have the opportunity to ask questions about their experience of finding work and transitioning into the workplace in the UK.
