Hi, I'm Nishi and I'm one of the student team members for Careers Network.
Careers Network has a dedicated team to help you decide what it is you want to do after you graduate, and provide advice about further study.
In this video I'm going to give you a short introduction to our online resources from the Explore section.
First things first, you can find all of Careers Network's online resources at www.intranet.birmingham.ac.uk/careers
Once you've accessed the main page just click on the student section to access our Explore, Plan and Apply webpages.
Our explore section will give you the opportunity to learn about your career options during and following your degree.
We have insight into different career sectors which is a great place to start and career planning tools to help you decide what it is you want to do.
If you're thinking of starting a business we also have a team to help you explore your ideas.
We have programmes such as the Birmingham Project, Personal Skills Award and mentoring schemes, where you can build on existing skills and learn new ones.
You may want to enhance your employability by exploring what type of work experience will work for you. Whatever you would like to do Careers Network has a place and a plan.
Careers Network also offers careers guidance appointments, practice interviews, online canvas courses, webinars, various careers events, and support following your graduation.
