  • With so many choices out there, take the time to make a reasoned decision

Organise your thoughts

  • What are your options?
  • Prioritise your career goals and plan your approach e.g. mindmapping

Get a second opinion

  • Ask a family member/friend
  • Seek a mentor
  • Book a careers advice appointment to help you with your decision

Embrace challenges

  • Be curious and positive
  • Try new things
  • Anything is possible with hard work and determination!

Keep your development in mind

  • What do you want to achieve? Be objective
  • Will this opportunity help you get there?
  • What do you need to work on towards future ambitions?

Consider the work culture and dynamic

  • Find out the values, behaviours, and goals of the organisation
  • When on work experience, how does the team work together?
