HEFi MicroCPD – the Summer Term Programme - preparing students for work, study and life
In the first of this term’s MicroCPD series, Professor Tom Harrison (Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor [Education Innovation] and Director of the Jubilee Centre for Character and Virtues) explains the aims of the newthree week Summer Term Programme, to support student progression and transition and help develop graduate attributes. In future weeks, MicroCPD videos will feature case studies of activities which could be included in the Summer Term Programme.
Digital Assessment Proof of Concept project
The Digital Assessment Proof of Concept project has increased numbers of modules for the second term of the academic year: 20 modules using Cadmus and 40 modules using Graide, across all 5 Colleges plus BIA and HEFi. The HEFi assessment team is busy collating and analysing the data from the first term and will share the results in due course. We will also soon begin running focus groups with staff and students to gain further insights into whether or not the tools have improved experiences of assessment and feedback.
HEFi Online guidance
The Higher Education Futures Institute have created a library of self-paced guidance on teaching and learning, and digital tools such as Canvas and Panopto. Please take some time to explore all the resources we have to offer.
Top Tip - Using Panopto to set up Media Assessment Portals
Use Panopto to set up Media Assessment Portals for your students. See the video below which demonstrates how to set this up.
