Due to the large number of applications received and the limited number of places available we will unfortunately not be able to accommodate all requests for work experience.
Each year schools work experience placements within Libraries and Learning Resources, University of Birmingham are open to young people in years 10 to 13. Libraries are not just about books, and these placements will give you an insight into the day-to-day workings of a modern University library. You will have a chance to work in different library teams, shadowing staff and gaining hands-on experience of tasks. Information about applying for a placement in 2025 will be released in the Autumn.
