- The University of Birmingham's Art & Science Festival will return for its third year in 2015. Running Monday 16 – Sunday 22 March 2015 and themed 'Sight & Sound', the festival will be a free programme showcasing culture, research and collaboration at the University through talks, exhibition, performances, workshops and screenings.

- For this year's Christmas promotion, the Health Services Management Centre's (HSMC) Library is selling copies of the "Two into one" quiz in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Each quiz is only £2.00 and everyone submitting a quiz form will be entered into a draw to win one of three Marks & Spencer vouchers.
