University of Birmingham academics examine effects of integrating workplace wellbeing activities into organisations

Description
Academics from Birmingham Business School and the School of Health and Population Sciences at the University of Birmingham have been awarded funding for a new project with Health Exchange, a leading health and wellbeing organisation in Birmingham. Funding from the Accelerating Business-Knowledge Base Innovation Activity (ABIA) will support a group of PhD students, supervised by Professor Fiona Carmichael (Birmingham Business School) and Dr Steven Sadhra (School of Health and Population Sciences), to undertake a review of the effects of integrating workplace wellbeing activities into organisations.

Superdiversity: theory, method and practice in an era of change

Description
The Institute for Research into Superdiversity held the world's first international, interdisciplinary conference on superdiversity at the University of Birmingham Business School between the 23-25th June. The conference was attended by around 200 delegates from across the world who had the opportunity to go to 138 papers, three plenary sessions, two keynote lectures and a policy panel.
