Online sexual content is widely available, and people’s experiences and feelings about it can vary. For some, it may feel like a normal part of life; for others, it can become unhelpful or start to affect mood, relationships, or daily routines. If your use is starting to feel difficult to control, impacting your studies, sleep, or relationships, or leaving you feeling low, anxious, or distracted, you’re not alone and support is available. It’s okay to reflect on your habits without judgement and make changes at your own pace.
Pivotal Recovery Course
Problematic Porn Use (PPU) is more common than many people realise. An estimated 88% of 18-28 year olds watch porn, and 63% of them started before they were 16. While some watch it without issues, others find it feels difficult to control or starts to impact their wellbeing, studies or relationships. To help support students who are struggling with PPU, we have partnered with Pivotal Recovery to run a pilot study, providing you with free access to a professionally guided online programme, delivered by renowned sex and relationship psychotherapist and author Dr. Paula Hall.
