The Placements team will advertise any information events and workshops for College of Social Sciences students in their penultimate-year on this page.

Information sessions:

• Accounting & Finance and Business Management, Wednesday 24th January 14:00 – 15:00 in 108 University House
• Social Policy, Sociology and Criminology, Wednesday 31st January 13:00 – 14:00 in 121 Muirhead Tower
• School of Government, Wednesday 31st January 14:00 – 15:00 in 121 Muirhead Tower
• School of Education, Wednesday 7th February 13:00 -14:00 in 224 Education Building

Drop-in Information Session and Finding Work Experience

• Drop-in Information Session on Wednesday 14th February 13:00 - 14:00 in 112 Muirhead Tower - students from all Schools welcome to come along (no pre-booking required).
• Finding Work Experience on Wednesday 21st February 13:00 - 14:00 in LG14 Murray Learning Centre - an exclusive event for students who are interested in the Professional Development Module. The event will be led by the College Internship Officer and supported by the Placements Team. If possible, please bring your laptop with you. No booking required - just come along.

Careers Network also host a variety of events and workshops that can help you in your search for a placement and your wider career planning.
