Mastering Your Career

Mastering your Career is a series of courses delivered by Careers Network specifically designed for Masters students to help you succeed in the job market and to provide a focus on your professional and career development as part of the Masters year.

If you are a postgraduate student in the Business School, please note that you can participate in the Future Leaders Certificate which has been specifically designed for you by your Careers in Business team.

Summer term 

Mastering Your Career Planning

An 8-week course for Masters students who want to invest time in their career planning during the first term of the Masters year, with the opportunity to hear from Masters alumni and fellow students!

You can do the course at your own pace around academic or other commitments, with online sessions throughout October, November and December. You will be encouraged to take action by attending Careers Network events or workshops on campus during the autumn term. To join the course, book a place at the Get Started session.

The course includes modules on goal setting, values and motivations, employability skills and strengths, career options and taking action. On successful completion you will receive an e-certificate of completion.

Mastering your Global Career

A certificate programme for international Masters students who want to make the most of their UK experience. The programme will support your job search and career progression with skills development, global job market information and employer related events.

It is ideal for those who want to gain recognition for and develop their employability skills through a range of extra-curricular opportunities. On completion students will receive a Careers Network Certificate of Achievement to show employers that you made the most of your time at university here in the UK.

The course will run again in the autumn term.
