COBRA Business Resource Library
Did you know, the University of Birmingham has access to a unique online business resource library called COBRA (Complete Business Reference Adviser). You can access thousands of fact sheets with topics including freelancing, financial, marketing and legal advice.
The COBRA resource library is updated regularly with the latest market information and the resource is available to University of Birmingham students and graduates. Please note: You can access the COBRA resource using the below link. You will need to sign in using your University of Birmingham username and password (links to FindIt@Bham Library portal).
Shared office space for innovators
Did you know the University has its own start-up incubator? Located at The Exchange building in Birmingham city centre, UoB Elevate offers a one year support programme for entrepreneurs with an option to apply for a £15,000 Start-Up scholarship. Applications for the programme and scholarship close in June each year with onboarding taking place in September.
There are currently 38 businesses based on the programme working together to grow their business with training, networking and alumni and business engagement support throughout the year.
