Learn about your options during and after your degree: different career sectors, developing an enterprising mindset, setting up your own business, further study, and working abroad. You might even have recently changed your mind about a career you had been set on pursuing.

Even if you have no idea where to start or what you want to do with your future, our advisers can help.

Careers Network is the University of Birmingham's award winning careers service for current and alumni students. Offering a range of tailored career services, the Careers Network provides support such as CV advice, internships, practice interviews, careers events and careers fairs.

Careers in Archaeology

Archaeologists examine ancient sites and objects to learn about the past. They may specialise in particular geographical areas, historical periods or types of object, such as pottery, coins or bones and work on excavations or 'digs'
