Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience

The Deputy Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Student Experience is there to help and support you when academic concerns you raise remain unresolved.

How can the DPVC for Student Experience help?

The DPVC for Student Experience works with students and staff to resolve serious academic concerns that may arise during your studies.

The DPVC for Student Experience is a senior academic whom you can consult (in strictest confidence) in relation to any serious academic matters and difficulties you are experiencing with your  studies or with the University and its staff.

Please note, however, that if you are experiencing academic difficulties, you should consult your Personal Tutor first. If the matter has not been resolved soon after speaking to your Personal Tutor or other staff in the School, then the DPVC for Student Experience may be able to help.

When to consult the DPVC for Student Experience

Before consulting the DPVC for Student Experience you should attempt to resolve matters through your Personal Tutor or through your School. You should only involve the DPVC for Student Experience if this attempt is unsuccessful.
