The 2026 Travel Survey is your opportunity to tell us how you travel to and from University of Birmingham and help us plan for the future.
Running from Monday 5 October to Friday 6 November, the survey helps the Sustainable Travel team better understand commuting patterns and identify how we can make sustainable travel easier and more accessible for everyone.
The survey will only take a few minutes. Your feedback makes a real difference.

Over 6,000 people participated in 2024, and through the resulting Sustainable Travel Plan:
- We organised student and staff discounts for bus travel, supporting more than 1,350 of you every month
- 12,500 staff and students enjoyed free four-week bus passes
- We built four secure bus shelters – four more are in the pipeline
- We support Gear Up bike shop outside University Centre
- A new staff car-pooling app is due to launch soon
- We’ve invested in EV infrastructure
