When someone passes, their life is often reduced to a name, two dates, and a line etched in stone. Gravestones, urns, and memorials mark the loss but rarely the life. Traditional memorials tell us that someone lived, but not how.

The people we love are captured in thousands of photos, messages, and moments, yet when they’re gone, those fragments are hard to find, harder to preserve, and impossible to hold. A few businesses have tried to change that, but their approaches often rely on short-term hosting or external servers that cannot guarantee permanence. What is missing is a solution that is both deeply human and technologically enduring, one that treats memory not as content but as legacy.

Memvi reimagines remembrance for the digital age. It is an app that transforms traditional memorials into living legacies that preserve the essence of every life. Each Memvi legacy is hosted securely and independently online, ensuring that memories and tributes remain protected and accessible for generations to come.

Every legacy can be linked to a physical commemorative object such as a gravestone, urn, or keepsake. With a simple tap or scan, visitors can access a curated digital space filled with photos, voices, memories, and tributes, a lasting celebration of who someone truly was.

Our Story

Memory fades faster than we realise. Over half of people cannot name all four of their grandparents, and 57 percent cannot name a single great-grandparent. As time passes, stories, traditions, and knowledge are lost, but not with Memvi. Our platform ensures these memories are captured, preserved, and passed down, transforming fleeting recollections into lasting legacies.

For those who remain, Memvi bridges generations and distances. It allows families to connect to their roots, to hear familiar voices, to see the faces that shaped their existence. For those departing, it provides autonomy, dignity, and the opportunity to define how they are remembered, not as statistics but as stories.

We believe remembrance is not about death but about life, and the stories that deserve to live on. By starting with care-home partnerships and expanding through cemeteries, heritage organisations, and direct-to-family channels, Memvi will build the world’s most human digital archive, one legacy at a time.

Next Phase

Our initial partnerships will be with care homes, spaces full of history, connection, and stories worth preserving. Studies show that 73 percent of seniors want to protect their precious memories but need help doing so. Memvi provides a compassionate and engaging way for residents to document their lives and legacies, while strengthening relationships between families and care providers.

This route to market not only provides a strong foundation for growth but also directly contributes to improving wellbeing, purpose, and autonomy for older adults.

Memvi’s vision extends beyond digital legacies. As the platform grows, we will expand across the wider remembrance and death care space, including collaborations with cemeteries, gravemapping services, memorial upkeep, and commemorative gifting.

By establishing an early foothold with seniors and care homes, we aim to build trust through quality, empathy, and thoughtful design, creating natural brand expansion through families, word of mouth, and meaningful partnerships. As that trust deepens, Memvi will evolve into a central hub for remembrance, connecting families, service providers, and communities through one seamless, secure platform.
