We built Tutyx because we've both been tutors and seen how much time and energy mundane admin tasks take us away from doing what we love - teaching.
We have both worked as tutors and seen the same problems play out over and over - lots of time writing up lesson reports and hunting down WhatsApp chats with parents to keep them updated, manually sending out invoices, and payments that were slow and opaque, and agencies that had no real tools to manage any of it. When we looked at what technology existed to solve this, we found software built by people who'd never been in a tutoring session in their lives.
So we stopped waiting for someone else to fix it. Tutyx is what we wish had existed when we were tutors: built from the inside out, by people who have actually lived the problem.
