Mentor job sectors and roles

We have hundreds of mentors from a wide range of industries, many of whom are UoB Alumni

Some of our mentors are in the early stages of their career having graduated a few years ago. They can share with you their recent experiences of being a student and the transition from university into employment. Others have years of experience and can talk to you about their career journey so far and the different roles or sectors they may have worked within.

We also have mentors with experience of starting a business, as well as mentors who specifically want to support LGBT students with coming out in the workplace.

Many of our mentors are UK based however, we also have some who are based internationally in places such as the US, Hong Kong, India, Singapore and more. They can share with you insights around what it's like to work or study internationally or even how to find job opportunities and work experience in those countries.
