Smartella is a Birmingham based business which offers E-learning solutions to educational training providers through its software based online platform. The business was set up by University of Birmingham graduate Amir Shurrab in 2018 and has global clients which include Apple, Microsoft and the Government of Dubai.
Amir Shurrab's story:
Amir completed a master's degree in Digital Entrepreneurship at the University of Birmingham in 2014 and was awarded the Technology Enterprise Award. During his time at university, he worked on a start-up idea creating wearable technology before recognising an opportunity to create a software based business to improve the digital management of educational courses.
