Here are the features and fixes included in the latest website release on Wednesday 13 April, 2022.
New features
Content types and entries
- Content navigation cards component - entries now do not appear on preview or live if they have no location, rather than breaking the page. This also now has a keyboard focus when tabbing through the component.
- Footer in News - alt text is now blank for 'Culture and Collections' images
- Subject area content type - course listing now included in the page, which includes all courses with the subject area set as either their 'primary subject area' or 'secondary subject area' (taxonomies tab of course content type)
- Content header component (available in Standard content type and Course listing page) - 'minimal' header now available, with no colour block or image header
- Course listing page - level labels not shown if the search is pre-filtered by the CMS user, UCAS code moved to last in list, filters now function as a toggle
- Content footer component (used in Standard content, Subject area and Course listing page) - See also links and Next steps links must both be used for the footer to appear
- Single button component - if a location for the link is not specified, the component will not appear on the page
