Here are the features and fixes included in the latest website release on Wednesday 22 February 2023.
New features
Content types and entries (applies to /news /study and /jobs sections)
- News categories/subject areas - filtered pages can now be created for each of the news categories, e.g. Arts and Humanities, Business & economy. The most recent stories in each category appear in a grid at the top of the page, with an optional 'news campaign' grid below. This filters news articles to show those that have both the 'news category' and 'news campaign' applied.
- Content navigation cards - an optional heading can be added to this component. If added, the heading is styled as h2, with the navigation card headings as h3. If not supplied, the navigation card headings become h2s.

- Header and footer - logo links are now both birmingham.ac.uk/index.aspx, and Accommodation directs straight to /accommodation/index.aspx with no redirect (accessibility fixes)
- News search page - padding added to the RH side of the listing results on desktop
- News landing page - tabbing focus indicator reinstated on all listing cards
