Here are the features and fixes included in the latest website release on Thursday 27 October 2022.
New features
Content types and entries (applies to /news /study and /jobs sections)
- Content navigation cards - we now have the option of applying a dark blue or grey background to this component, to make it stand out from the rest of the content on the page
- Content navigation cards, Image with Text, Single image - images are now in webp format, auto-optimised, and only serve the largest size image required for the device, to reduce the page load time
- Call to action banner, Image gallery with Intro, fallback image - images are now in webp format and auto-optimised, to reduce page load time
- Sitemap and footer updates - to include the new /the-exchange section
- Image with text - now include the option of styling heading text as h2 or intro text
- RSS feeds for events and news - RSS feeds now available for our news articles (filterable by news campaign) and events (filterable by 'search data keyword). URLs for these will be available soon.
- Keyboard focus indicators for the news landing page and video embed feature are now clearer
Contensis Classic (applies to rest of site)
- Upgrade of Pure API integration
Bug fixes
Content types and entries
- Link carousel - if you link to an entry which has no location, this no longer causes the whole page to error. The entry with no location will simply not appear in the carousel.
- Featured events, Upcoming events - these now redirect to the correct event URL in Classic
