Here's a summary of the features and fixes included in the 29 September 2020 Contensis software update.
Features
Contensis image API - automatic optimisation of images
Automatic image optimisation has been added to images to optimise file size and dimensions to therefore improve image load times and performance. Editors must continue to upload optimised images as they normally would - the Contensis image API will optimise image dimensions and file size (if further improvements can be made) which will improve the end user experience. This currently will not apply to images added in the back end code e.g. lead images on course pages. Also currently unaffected are landing page promos/features, home page controls, Research, Quest and Strategic Framework but future work will ensure these are also optimised.
