Here's a summary of the features and fixes included in the January 2020 Contensis software update.
Enhancements
- Alt text on news items and event images
The article image on news and events now appears - this uses the alt text of the original image by default, by can be overridden by contextual alt text on the news/events template if desired
- Alt text on promo rows
Images in the UoB landing page promo row control now display the alt text of the original image if supplied
- FindaPhD embed
The FindaPhD embed now displays within a standard pink accordion on course pages
- Research template grids
There are now two and three column grids that can be used at the base of research templates. These can be found in site elements > layouts and then '2columngridwideleftresearch' and 'threecolumngridresearch'. These can be used for news and events feeds.
- PGR entry requirements on course pages
There is now a new field on the country pages for PGR entry requirements. This is now used in the international entry requirements drop down on course pages for all PGR-only courses (not combined PGR and PGT).
- Call to action boxes and buttons
A new webcontrol is available to create CTA boxes and buttons, rather than having to code these in. The new control is 'Call to Action Island' and is compliant with accessiblity regulations.
