En Klothe is a clothing start-up

Navdeep's story:

I saw some unique designs which I really liked so I decided to buy them and print them onto blank hoodies. Every time I wore the hoodies I was always asked where I had purchased them from and due to them receiving so much interest, I decided to start a clothing brand. I have now expanded the range to include 6 designs which are available on hoodies, sweatshirts and t-shirts. I have also created a website where all the clothing is sold.

Working at The Exchange I hope to be surrounded by likeminded people who want to grow their start-ups. Being surrounded by likeminded individuals will bring out the best in me and it will in turn allow me to elevate my business. I hope to have discussions and share ideas with the rest of the cohort so we can help each other grow our businesses. In the future I hope to expand my clothing range further and start creating/developing new collections. I also hope to launch some accessories including sunglasses, wallets and phone cases. I also hope to start offering personalisation options on the clothing we offer. Once I have completed all of this, I would love to run a pop-up shop in Birmingham.

I am currently looking for investors as I believe this would allow my brand to grow significantly. It would allow me to launch new designs, collections and accessories (£3000). It would also allow me to purchase machinery that would enable me to start offering personalisation on the clothing we currently sell (£2500). It would also allow me to market the brand properly using Instagram/Facebook advertising and infleuncer marketing (£1000). I would also be able to improve customer experience by offering next day and world-wide delivery by keeping an inventory of stock of all items (£1500). Finally, having an investor on board would allow me to open up a pop-up store in Birmingham where I could sell my clothing (£3500).

I am a University of Birmingham Biomedical Science graduate and I will be studying Medicine this coming year (2021/2022).
